We live in the Information Age and in a time when multimedia and many critical literacies including visual literacy are of increasing importance in the education arena and beyond.

As we prepare our students for life, the school seeks to provide through the library:

1. A space with a pleasant ambience
2. A vibrant environment of discovery and learning
3. A well of wonderful literature to draw on, to inspire reading
4. A world of information beyond the walls with access to a vast range of useful material to support the curriculum and the information needs of staff and students, such as electronic databases, digital multimedia content and evaluated websites.

Contributions to the Library Fund will allow the library at St Andrew's to remain cutting-edge in its provision of information services to the school learning community.
